Wekk there is a lil truth to that sort of thing.
as a ex - employee of wal-mart i have worked lots of overtime and sadly they tend to have issues with OT as they look at the status of an employee. In the Boise Overland Wal-Mart The Old manager Renee had tyhe core value that only full time employee's could get OT and Part time could not.
so here is the funny side of that Renee as well as i am sure many managers of various walmarts consider full time as someone who has earned the right to be a full-time employee > Renee's Idewa is Full-Time is a Promotion. I was in a semi constant state of homelessness while employed with wal-mart back in 2007 to 2008 . most of my checks went to pay a motel by the week cause with the money i made from wal-mart there is no way i could ever get a place and finding a second job to help with funds to actually get a place that was out of the question as i worked in the Photo Department and I could be a open or closer and as a part time employee ya took what time you could get.
Now i got in trouble for many times working off the clock assisting customers either as i was walking out of the stores or there to pick up a check and seeing fellow team mates busy and a customer there to just pick up their photos to get home asap. etc.
Heaven forbid an employee who loves their job (which I loved very much so) on a day off or off the clock helps out a customer with something. bear in mind a off the clock employee cant log on a register or price something but I sure could walk by see a customer looking for something and help[ them find what they are looking for. Or stop and pick up a spill in the aisle so a customer would not slip or trip. Or in my area talk to a customer about a camera they wanna purchase and as one of my busy team members to toss me the keys to open the drawer and get out the camera and bring it over to the register to purchase it.
very common things that shows over the top customer service . you get to see regulars and when they see you its hey so and so can ya help me i am thinking of buying ... Am I someone to say sorry I am off the clock but give me a 40 minutes to get a manager permission to put me on the clock to help you out. No I am gonna help cause that is the kind of thing that someone who is Customer Service Oriented is gonna do.
If i was to total the amount of overtime i should have been paid it would be close to 100 hours but am i gonna write out 10 exception slips for doing this or that onm a daily basis.
I know that they have a faulty machine that doesnt record well as at least 3 paychecks where short by about 10 to 15 hours and i would think that a decent book keeper would matchg hours to be worked and not worked verses the schedual as a double check as it they did that.
it is my personal opinion that the Boise Overland Store has not been stable as they had in my time at least 4 Managers over the Photo Dept and when it came down to Hireing a Manager of electronics they chose a woman named rebecca who since the day i gained employment with wal-mart to about the last 2 weeks of my employment wear non standard colors for work ( Black pants not tan or kahki ) versees another employee that over the photo department who was more than quailifed named Tammy.
Last month before i was terminated for a private conversation with my manager Tammy was that they Hired a person from another Store to oversea the Photo and electronics Dept Named Donald and this is very poor of a company to get someone from another store to oversee management of that/those deppartemnst when they could have just as easy selected someone that had skills in both area's like Tammy did for someone who didnt know anything about Photo.
would you hire a burger king employee to oversee the construction of a computer company who didnt know anything about construction of computers
anyways based on the multiplke post i have to agree with the others trhere has to be proof of your case till then it sounds like a rant
I provided more information about my issues including the first name of managers and a lil about me. Oh might i Ad i cross dressed at work and that alone should fitre off a few bells at work so if one got on the horn called the Boise Overland wal-mart and asked for Tammy of Photo and spoke with her and asked about a cross dresser that went by the name Hermione she would know who ya talked about
so there is my solid claim

You have all sorts of problems don't you(and I don't think they are all with Wal-Mart..hint..hint). First you get called racist names, get punched and now don't get paid overtime.

Why is it that when I read these reports the first thing that comes to mind is "fake"?

The person who is writting these fake reports gives a Address on Blue Ridge, but that is in Kansas City Mo. But they list the City in Kansas City Ks. We are a Bi-state area and you can cross the state line from either side in just minutes. Thats a another clue they are lying. They also are probably not from this area. What do you want to bed they are filing the reports for "later" use in a court case.

Sorry, but I do not believe you... Frank or Judy.
I work at a Wal-mart and I get paid overtime. But that's not the only reason that I don't believe. You and "Frank" have complained about the same Wal-mart, you both have the same typing style, and apparently "Frank" didn't get hired because that person didn't have a phone number. I know that point isn't always valid but sometimes it is. I just don't believe you and I don't think anyone else does.
