I responded to ad on Craigslist for graphic arts wanted. UCLA Hosting offered me $120.00 to do a fairly complex piece of web site header art. The agreement was $40.00 in advance, $40 on completion of first draft and $40 on sign off. It was a 5 hours rush job. I completed the first draft and they responded saying it was really great and "what skillful work I did" but they may need some minor alterations. I never heard another word despite repeated e-mails. Only the $40 deposit was ever paid (by PayPal).
