A Solid Gold Sound Aka A Sensory Sound DJs This company ripsoff contractors and clients Covington Kentucky

I am a subcontracted DJ who did an event for A Solid Gold (aka A Sensory Sound DJs) on Oct 4 2008. I tried to contact them and was stalled with them not answering my calls or emails. Eventually I spoke to John at the end of December who used a fake excuse that the client was unhappy and had sued him. I wrote him and pointed out the fact that I did the gig and should be paid according to our contract. From what I now understand his company has been sued hundreds of times by DJs as well as clients. John and his partner found me the day before the event claiming that their DJ had a family emergency. I was willing to be the fill-in DJ mainly to help out. My fee was a very small percentage of what they charged the client. My legal options now is limited to traveling all the way to Kentucky to sue him for the small amount owed. Right about now I probably better off using the internet to expose this company as a fraud. They advertise a wedding DJ for $495 but the client pays much more due to bogus add-ons such as microphones, etc.
I advise all clients to never pay for your DJ in full before the event. If they ask for full payment than you have no guarantee they will show! DJs, make sure you get a deposit before you accept any gigs!
