My Daughter received a letter from the company calimming that she won a certificate if we hire them for her Sweet 16th party, I called John Cavalea who claimed to be the President of the company and he offered the following Package: DJ/Mc with 4 ours of music - a professional Photographer Unlimited- a Professional Videographer 4 hours. a Basic light a TV screen and free party favors. then later he added more mony claimming that he will hire a 2nd person to be the MC and when I wanted to cancel the Photography deal because I learned that two dancers girls will be doing the photography, he claimed that he already booked and paid a Professional Photographer and he can't cancel but he will give us 2 big Plasma screens with the package.
On the day of the party He Shocked us all when there was not too much that we could do he came with a very Arrogant Rude attitude and threatened to leave if we don't pay him all his balance in cash before he starts which made my Husband & I ran around to get him the cash. I asked him where is the MC the Photographer the Plasma screens the Light the party favors or the Video person he said what you see is what you get him and another person who completely ruined the memory of our event with very Poor DJ performance No Photos at all No MC No Plasma screens No Lighting No party Favors and a 40 minutes of a very Poor Quality video DVD that we begged him to mail to us after we paid for the shipping 3 weeks later
He declined to run most of the music from our culture that my daughters prepared on CD's that he refused to return to us. He showed No Respect at all to our culture with the bad language that kept using every time we asked him for something
He is very Unprofessional he hangs up on me he doesn't return my phone calls like I should bang my head against the wall he already got more than his money upfront I feel sick as I was Ripped Off and my Daugter feels that she was betrayed on a day she has waited long for. I am asking everyone who reads this report to help me stop Music To Your Ears and John cavalea from Ripping another 16 years old girl off her Joyful Memory.
