I called this company to get insurance. I got the coverage and paid almost $900 towards my $2864 policy. A month later I receive a letter stating that I was being denied coverage due to points. I could understand that and if you want to deny me coverage thats fine but don't make me go through the whole process of getting coverage and then send me a notice denying me coverage. I should have been informed of this from the beginning. The way they operate is terrible and I do not recommend anyone to get coverage from them.

There are two insurance programs for educators and we want to clarify that this item is not about our Teachers' Insurance Plan, which is available in many states -- but not in New Jersey. The item in this post is apparently about the NJ company with a similar name that is not in any way affliated with "Teachers' Insurance Plan"
