DNS Services scam

AUTHOR: Trevor - (United States of America)

POSTED: Tuesday, November 06, 2012

My small business just received one of these fake invoices and my boss was upset and confused because we use a different company for domain registration and hosting.  It is a very convincing looking account statement complete with account number and itemized description of services charged.  The paper I received does say on it "This is a solicitation... You are under no obligation to make any payments..."

Be aware of this "solicitation" and don't worry about your current domain name and host.
