I am Kristie Bailey the owner of kristies bluegrass bullies. I am very out raged that someone would write this about my company. I know who wrote this report against me! I sent her to my vet when she first purchased the puppy. I have a written health guarantee that I give with all my puppies. It clearly states that I do not guarantee against Demodex Mange, this is very common in English Bulldogs. The mother of this puppy has never had even a spot of anything on her skin.This lady did contact me about the Demodex and I asked my vet Dr CASTLE IN WINCHESTER,kY , if I should ever breed the mother(Bindi) again and he told me that all puppies are born with mites and most of the time there immune system keeps them from taking over,which means breaking out. This was the only puppy to break out with this! I also found out the girl who purchased the puppy works alot of hours in a factory, so the puppy is left crated more than half the day, which the vet says can cause a drop in the immune system and cause the Demodex to come out. Also I was never told that Demodex can be fatal! So the lady who wrote this complaint should have really researched this before she lashed out against my company. I also have emails where I offered to take her dog and have it dipped for her, I guess she failed to mention that!! I love the English Bulldog breed and would never do anything to harm it!!! I have a  list of past buyers who love my bulldogs and only have good things to say about me. I guess you cant make everyone happy ,even though I try to treat people the way I want to be treated!!!

First of all, I do not stand to make any money from posting a report here, but the lady who sold me this dog stands to make quite a bit from two litters of pups. Some of these puppies are selling for 1800 dollars, so I am sure she will find any way she possibly can to blame someone else.The bottom line here is that my dogs hair fell out from demodectic mange.This mange comes from the dogs mother and is passed during the first weeks after birth, therefore any puppy born from this dog (Bindi) will have these mites.It is possible that the pups will never lose hair or show signs of demodex, but it is also possible the pups will. I have given my dog vitamins from the start and fed her the best vet recommended food I could find. This lady knows nothing about the hours I work and my dog was not crated for long periods of time. She never offered to take the dog anywhere to get her dipped, all she gave me was a number of groomer who could do this, and by the way it is very expensive and the dip itself is toxic to the dog.These pups were taken from there mother at six weeks old, most bulldog breeders I have talked to have told me this is too early, they should wait 8 weeks to make sure the pup's immune system is fully developed.I dont honestly know if any of the other pups had problems with this, and I have no way of knowing, but the health guarantee says that demodex is not covered so maybe others just didnt bother to tell her. She also told me just about a week ago that one of the vets at the same office told her she shouldnt breed the dog, but the other vet told her it was okay.If demodex is not a possibility why is it specifically not covered in the guarantee?I have nothing to gain from this. I just want people to be aware of it so maybe they wont have to go through what I have been through.
