PAUL AND CHERYL POSTED PICTURES OF A PUPPY NAMED "T-CUP CHLOE ON THE PUPPYFIND.COM WEBSITE AFTER I ORIGINALLY INQUIRED ABOUT ANOTHER PUPPY THEY HAD LISTED (T-CUP MAX).
EVERYTHING WAS GOING FINE UNTIL I RECEIVED HIS CONTRACT. IT CONTAINED ALL TYPES OF STIPULATIONS AND INVOLVED THE BUYER DISHING OUT HUNDREDS OF DOLLARE IN VET AND MISC. FEES BEFORE THE HOWARDS WOULD EVEN CONSIDER REPLACING YOUR PUPPY.....
I MADE CHANGES TO MY CONTRACT AND HE REFUSED TO ACCEPT THE CONTRACT BECAUSE I INITIALED EVERY LABELED LINE INSTEAD OF ON THE LINES HE PROVIDED. AFTER AGREEING TO CERTAIN CHANGES OVER THE PHONE, THE HOWARDS SENT ME A NEW CONTRACT AND DEMANDED THAT I DO NOT PUT ANY OTHER MARKINGS ON THE CONTRACT OUTSIDE THE AREAS DESIGNATED BY THEM.
THE WHOLE CONTRACT WAS SETUP TO HAVE THE BUYER ABSORB HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS IN PUPPY FEES FOR A SICK PUPPY, A PUPPY THAT WAS NOT IN YOUR POSSESSION, OR EVEN A THAT ARRIVED BUT DIDN'T MATCH THE PUPPY IN THE PHOTOS.
THE HOWARDS WEBSITE (I'M NOT SURE WHAT IT IS TO BE HONEST: PUPPYELUV? PUPPIES TO LOVE? BOTH NAMES EXIST THE CONFUSION IS ONE HAS THE PUPPY AND ONE HAS YOUR MONEY).
THE MOST IMPORTANT THING IS THAT BOTH THEIR LISTINGS (ON PUPPYFIND AND NEXTDAYPETS) STATES A CREDIT CARD PAYMENT WILL BE ACCEPTED AT A 3% CHARGE VIA PAYPAL. BUT, IN HIS CONTRACT AND EMAILS TO ME, HE PRINTED A 4% PAYPAL FEE WILL BE CHARGED.
FINALLY, THE MORNING PRIOR TO MAKING MY PAY-PAL PAYMENT I FOUND THAT ALL (NOT SOME) OF THE PICTURES OF THE NEW PUPPIES POSTED DAYS EARLIER HAD BEEN REMOVED FROM THE PUPPYFIND.COM SITE. THEY WERE NOWHERE TO BE FOUND.
I EMAILED THE HOWARDS ABOUT THE MISSING PROFILES (T-CUP CHLOE,ZOEY,JOEY,MAX,MACEY) AND ASKED WHY THEY WERE REMOVED?
THEY TOLD ME THAT THEY THOUGHT I WAS COMMITTED TO BUYING CHLOE SO THEY TOOK HER PROFILE DOWN.... I KNOW WHAT YOU'RE THINKING "WHAT ABOUT THE OTHER PUPPY PROFIES?" THEY NEVER ANSWERED THAT QUESTION!!!
I REQUESTED NEW PICTURES OF T-CUP CHLOE IN CERTAIN POSITIONS AND WITH CERTAIN ITEMS (WHICH WERE PROVIDED). ANOTHER RED FLAG THAT I JUST COULDN'T GET PAST. I WANTED TO CONFIRM THAT THE ORIGINAL PICTURES THEY POSTED OF T-CUP CHLOE MATCHED THE PUPPY IN THE NEWLY TAKEN PICTURES AND*** THE*** PICTURES***WERE ***CLEARLY ***NOT ***OF***THE***SAME***PUPPY!!
THE PHYISICALLY APPEARANCE WAS STRICKENLY DIFFERENT. EVERTHING FROM HAIR COLOR, TEXTURE, LENGTH, BASIC FEATURES, ETC.).
THE HOWARDS ADVERTISED THIS PUPPY UNDER FAKE PICTURES AND THE PICTURES THEY SENT ME WERE UNDENIABLY DIFFERENT!!!!
THESE INCIDENTS HAPPENED ON DECEMBER 10 -12, 2009 .
