Just for temp work -- ARC of Henrietta strongly encouraged the 3 series (over 6 months) of hepatitus-C vaccinations, just for packing frozen plasma for a couple months ....
And ... upon the first day .. for sign up .. they had new contractor employees read a bunch of crap that had been like triple or quadrouple copied so that much of it was unreadable. and then you were supposed to sign saying you had read something that was unreadable ...
not to mention at least 4 gay men working in this blood facility!!! if ever there was a place to discriminate ... perhaps this would be one of them !!!!

This reports makes no sense. First off there no vaccine for Hepatitis (I didn't know to spell it either but spell check really works) C. The vaccination you were offered was for Hepatitis B. The reason they recommended this because you were going to be handling blood products and could be exposed to bloodborne pathogens.
However I do agree that the documents they had you sign should legible. Did you ask for clarification from a supervisor? What did they say?
Lastly WTF does being gay have to do with working for the Red Cross or anywhere else? Are you implying that they could somehow infect the blood supply. No offense but in this day and age you should know better then that. Stop listening to Michele Bachmann.
END RANT.
