I am a former Pharmaceutical representative for PFIZER. Worked for Pfizer Pharmaceuticals over 5 years. If I had to write about all of Pfizers ABUSES it would take days. Just one of many: Doctors get kickacks(PAYMENTS) for writing a certain amount of prescriptions for Pfizers newer more EXPENSIVE drugs. Often these drugs are NOT the best ones for the patient. Pfizer (bribes) Doctors with everything from paid vacations to 5 star resorts etc.(you name it they do it)even cash payments. A Pharmaceutical representatives ONLY job is to LIE to a doctor. Plain and simple. The more prescriptions the doctor writes the more commissions I used to make. I finally quit the job. Being a prostitute for the drug industry was not for me. Please note this is only ONE of MANY abuses by PFIZER.(other drug companies are equally guilty).

Pfizer also works on PREVENTING safer and proven treatments used throughout Europe, Canada, Australia etc. from reaching the US. SOMETING MUST BE DONE about the Pharmaceutical companies NOW! A good start would be to BAN their commercials on television. And if you believe they are searching for cures, well I have a bridge to sell you. Lastly do not waste your time calling or contacting (whether you are a doctor or patient) Pfizer, they are trained to lie, plain and simple. Again this is just ONE of MANY abuses. PFIZER IS CRIMINAL IN EVERY WAY!!!

Always thought the kickback thing

was common knowledge. I believe a lot of the treatments used in Europe-though I'm sure pharmas have some say in some circumstances-hit FDA roadblocks also.

I also worked for Pfizer for 10 years as a Pharmaceutical Representative.As mentioned in opening post to list Pfizers abuses would take days!

A few things everyone should know.When Pfizer or any of the Drug Companies mention high cost of medication is for "research and cures".That is the biggest lie!Pfizer alone spends one third(1/3) of profits on television commercials,magazine ads etc.alone!Billions of dollars.

Another 1/3 of profits is spent on "pushing drugs on doctors"as mentioned above, by hiring people like myself.And campaign contributions, special interest groups.

Another issue: Pfizer has worked with the tobacco companies to make cigarettes more addictive!If Polio(one example of many) existed today Pfizer(like all the other drug companies)would NOT develop a cure.Even if they found a cure.Sorry not as much money to be made.This goes for aids,cancer etc.

To merely call Pfizer criminals is being too kind.Pfizer is much worse!If people knew more they would never put up with the Pharmaceutical Industry period!Unfortunately even good doctors today are clueless.Europe, Australia and the rest of the civilsed world does not put up with the drug companies criminal methods, why does America?

The drug companies should only be ONE avenue to find effective treatments and cures.Relying only on them is a waste of time.Be very careful when prescribed a new medication today!
