dishonest vitamin herbal products supplier complaint discrepancy re dose of extract mislabeled

ordered 160 mg softgel of extract -supposed bid discount-
confirmed mg was half of that in a bottle labeled 160 mg of this extract confirmed by my chemist;
dishonest dealing noticed, noted/ bad attitude by company, spoke to someone in charge, and no good at all;

I have seen the ads for this company, and also looked at their website. I was wondering how they can be so cheap and I thought if what they were labeling was correct. No one would know, but you did the testing. Thank you they are now on my list of scam companies, and I will not do any business with them.

I've been buying products from Puritan's Pride for several years now, but this last month I set up to make my annual order and the product I wanted was no longer available. I know this happens a lot so I didn't think much of it. I found something else to order, but after a couple weeks I hadn't received anything about it in my email. I called to inquire about the order and they told me it was on back order and I should have noticed this when I ordered the product. I waited a few more weeks and I still got nothing about it in my email. I called again. Not only were they rude to me on the phone, they didn't send me any notification about the delay. They just left me in the dark. I finally called and threatened to cancel my order unless they sent it in the next few days. Within 3 days I received an email saying my order had been sent. This will be the LAST time I order anything through them. They've lost my trust and have horrible customer service.

As a long-time customer of Puritan's Pride, I have nothing but the utmost of respect for the Company. I find the previous complaint to be unfounded, false and perhaps even libelous. No other vitamin manufacturer in the world places its ingredients and products through the same high degree of extensive quality testing procedures as does Puritan's. In fact, I would sincerely doubt that the original complaintant did anything to test the product he purchased, if he even purchased it, but rather that he more than likely is simply a competitor who is perhaps quite jealous of the extensive history of quality, growth and success that Puritan's Pride has enjoyed over the past 45+ years. All one need do, is go to the Puritan website, see their extensive product line of over 1400 products, watch a couple of their several facility tour videos, and there should be no doubt that such a complaint is anything but founded. And no, I do not work for Puritan's, nor am I in any way associated with the Company beyond that of a very satisfied customer who would highly recommend Puritan products to anyone, and do so without hesitation.
