The Medicines Company Juliet Agranoff Human Resources Discrimination Racist Unfair Uncaring Parsippany, New Jersey

I was an employee at the medicines company for about 4 years. The disgraceful HR manager is Juliet Agranoff.  I had some personal issues related to my 8 year old son's health which with faith, prayer and support from my family we were able to overcome and now he is fine. I am a single mother and raising him alone.  I am educated, I went to school, earned my degree and became a professional.  I had to miss work more than I would have liked to take care of my son, and while I understand the company still has to function regardless of my situation, my co-workers, who were wonderful, offered to help and support me as much as possible.

Human resources WAS totally uncaring, when I voiced my grievances and finally got to speak face to face with Juliet Agranoff, her comments were very mean, and racist.  She said things like "you people" always have some reason for not coming to work, she said that she has kids too and "unlike other people" has managed to stay married.  She said that "it's always the same kind of people" coming to her with these issues, and she even said "we have to look at who we are hiring", and "I can't save you people" all the time.

When I left that meeting with her, I was in shock and went to the ladies room and cried.  A few other co-workers saw me and told me that Juliet has a history of being mean, racist and uncaring to people in trouble. One of the secretaries told me that Juliet told her to order enough fried chicken and watermelon for a meeting "so EVERYONE feels included".  This is Juliet Agranoff's idea of human resources!
