Rite Aid Drug Store ripoff Re-deposit check fee not posted in store, electronically taken from checking account without authorization Camp Hill Pennsylvania

I wrote a check to Rite Aid, which bounced due to my fault, but when re-deposited by Rite Aid 1 week later it did clear and the received the total amount of the check. Approximately 1 week after it cleared from my account, I noticed another charge of $25.00 electronically taken from my checking account by Rite Aid.

When I confronted the Rite Aid store, located in El Cajon, CA, I spoke to 2 different managers, neither of whome could do anything but pass phone numbers on to me of there corporate office because neither of them had a clue who I should talk to nor did they even know there stores policies regarding fees charged for NSF and bounced checks.

I have called the district manager and left several messages for him, I have called the corporate office, returned check desk, several times and have not received any responses, and I have spoke to 2 different managers and no one from Rite Aid is willing to speak to me about this issue.

No where in the store is there posted anything about fees charged for returned checks and no one I have spoke to knows the policy of Rite Aid regarding returned checks.

All I wanted was the original $25.00 put back in to my checking account, but now because they took the money out, I have more charges for NSF because they took it without my authorization, and the money was in there for other checks I had written.

I would love to hear from them but it seems they think I will just go away if they ignore me long enough and they are all dead wrong. I will pursue this all the way to the courts if I have too.
