Direct Energy - CONTACT PUBLIC UTILITY COMMISSION if you have had your rate unannounced double to over 20 cents per kw. They said we were notified one yr ago. $800+bills Received electric bills $800-$900 Houston, Texas

BEWARE! of DIRECT ENERGY

They recently purchased or acquired entergy solutions. Twice the have not had the meters read for 3 months and we received bills over $1000.00

Now we have received two months (June and July) of Electric Bills of almost $900.

They RAISED OUR RATE OVER 90% to over 20 cents a KW with No Notice.

Their customer service response on numerous occasions was that we notified you OVER A YEAR AGO. We never received a notice that our rates were going to double. They tried to sign us up for a two year plan, and hinted that a customer service manager would probably adjust the bills that are due. Customer Service Manager did nothing, except transfer me to "The office of the president" with No Return Call ever after being promised!!!

It is a Quick Way to take advantage of the public. PRICE GOUGING!! In this economy I recommend that you go with a company that is fair and that can be trusted.

They have been a NITEMARE!
