Spark Energy False Representation of Their Service - Guaranteed an 8% cost savings over my current electricity provider - but REALITY is they CHARGED ME 15% MORE than the former proivder's rate would have been. Houston Texas

False Representation of Their Service/FEES/Agreements - The telephone sales (solicitor) Guaranteed an 8% cost savings over my current electricity provider - but REALITY is they CHARGED ME 33% MORE than the former provider's rate was. They also made no mention of contract agreements when I asked while the sales person was encouraging me to sign on - but there is in fact a 2 YEAR CONTRACT - with severe penalties if you terminate service prior to that time. You only get that contract information after the dates for early termination are past.

They LIED to me on the phone and ended up charging me about 30% more When I have called to discuss this, two differen tcustomer service representatives told me that their systems were down and they would not be able to call up any of my information.

So FRUSTRATING! I just want to terminate service and be done with them, but it seems that they keep you draggin on for days/weeks to be able to charge you exhorbitant amounts of money.

Better Business Bureau - I'm writing them next!
