Canon Pixma MP830 Office All-In-One Inkjet Printer (0583B002)This is the worst printer I have used in 25 years of computing. They have rigged it to mix color ink to produce black and white document. Anyone considering buying it should check out this url:

In spite of scores of hours on with tech. support I cannot get it to do the simplest tasks like linking a scan to an email or faxing. It uses up colored ink like a black hole even though I have not printed a single color document. When a colored ink is used up it will not function at all.

18 month ago I purchased a Lexmark Pinnacle Pro 901 to replace my old Z65P and I love it!  I've been pretty darn happy with it and would recommend it for any home office environment.

You can configure it to default print with BLACK INK ONLY!  Black ink cartridges cost $4.99 each.

Additionally, when a color ink cartridge is EMPTY, the all-in-one is still fully functional-just print in B/W.
