A. Phone
1.Told us on the phone that they would at least meet another bona fide estimate.
2.Told us the estimate is $95 but would be used toward the cost of the job.
3. Never mentioned extra cost on Sundays for estimate.

B. Representative at house
1. Had me sign an agreement first before the estimate was given.
2. After assessing the needed repair gave a quote of $8300.00 (Note: Two other previous quotes ranged from $1400.00 to $1800.00 The latter I had in writing on my person.)
3. I turned down the quote stating it was about 5 times higher than other quotes.
4. He was adamant about me paying the estimate or he would put a lien on the house.
5. I reminded him that they stated on the phone that they would meet the estimate of a bona fide competitor.
6. He would not take me up on that and insisted I pay the estimate of $95
7. I asked for an address of his company he said that would not be possible since they had many companies contracted. (Later I looked up the address on the web using their CA. License # 834206
8. I signed the credit card invoice with the words under protest. I signed this because I was not sure of the legal ramifications of their ability to place a lien on my house if I refused.
