Lucas Contracting is contracted to Power House Retail Services and advertises his business as Power House. However when it is time to pay your bills and payroll, they like to leave it behind for other contractors to take the responsibilty and pay there people. Innocent workers were left behind without pay after working hard, long days on tree trimming trucks and then he has the nerve to not pay his employee's he hired. Left them hanging without food, transpertation, or a paycheck. The least an employer can do is pay there employee's even if the business has to go under. There is such as thing called you hire a indivduial you pay them for there work. When Jeff Lucas decided that he was in hole and didnt want to pay employee's he pulled his trucks off the county contract and parked them and left the employee's hanging. The Contractor left on the job next in line, which was of course myself ended up having to pay his employee's so they could put food on the table for there families. Doing so my own family went in the hole after paying all his payroll and has lost everything, due to being the honest nice person i am, i just couldnt see all those men and there familes going without nothing over a man that decided to run without paying. Also, the management company above my company told me if i didnt pay his payroll then next in line which was me would go to jail for non-payment of payroll. Well guess what i'm not going to jail for someone else's bills/payroll. Lucas Contracting/Power House Retail Services is not doing anything to pay back there payroll and there diffently in the wrong with plenty of paperwork to back it. How can a company not pay there payroll and watch the contractor have to pay it and lose everything they own, house, car's, commercial bucket trucks, etc. Someone needs to put this man in jail for non-payment of payroll not the Contractor that was forced to pay another company's payroll! What was this company thinking....... Non payment of Payroll is the worst bill to decide to leave hanging, since many people lives are at stake!
