Courier South charges its clients a gas surcharge, which it should then pass on to its couriers. Instead the company keeps the gas surcharge for its self and makes their couriers pay for their own gas.

With gas prices so high now, this is truly a horrible way to treat your employees. Courier South gets two thumbs down from me.

Courier South Rips Off Customers

Courier South left my business to business package in an unsecured location without signature (and without my approval to leave without a signature) and then lied about what they did. They dont insure for loss or damage so between their lies, negligence, and lack of insurance I lost thousands of dollars since the package went missing. This company is unethical, dishonest irresponsible, and uninsured. Not only do they take advantage of their employees as demonstrated by the previous post by an employee, they also will quickly hose customers when they make a mistake. If they lose, misplace, or damage your package or if it gets stolen when they deliver without a signature, they will deny any mistakes and you will be totally out of luck. Don't take risks with these unethical and irresponsible people. The owner of the company is definitely dishonest. I know of other companies that have also lost significant money when Courier South lost/damaged shipments and denied responsibility. If you don't mind doing business with a company that is comfortable lying to avoid obligations, takes advantage of its own employees, and doesn't have insurance for loss/damage to your packages maybe they are ok to work with. But you need a company you can trust that can insure and guarantee your deliveries, this is definitely not the company.
