I worked at Lowes for 2 years in delivery I pulled a muscle in my side at work and was put of work for 2 months their team of Workmans comp. Would not pay I got a lawyer and they paid only the doctor bills and 4weeks of 60% of my pay that was fine I made 12.00 hr. But when they told me I had to resign I and the whole store was shocked I do not like to talk bad about anybody and this is a first but I liked my job and everybody there. I'm only putting this on here so if you work for Lowes do not get hurt they sent me the corporate rules that says if they have to pay any Workmans comp claim you must resign or you will be terminatied .

There is more to this story.

What was the reason for not paying the entire time you were off? (Dr. released you but you stayed off longer)

2 Months for a pulled muscle? Come on! I have worked with pulled muscle in my back stood up like a rope, 12 hr shift. (you were probably trying to get paid)

A doctor will keep telling you to stay off as long as you keep telling them you do not feel well.
