Advantage Marketing Linsey Beford Larry O'Brien Totally Bogus email phone call regarding job interview Erlanger Kentucky

I was sent an email saying that "Advantage Promotions" saw my resume on Monster.com and thought that my credentials were a great fit for an account executive position that is available in my area. I was instructed to call the 800 number that was given if I was interested in an interview.

I called the 800 number the next day and got a voicemail saying "if you're calling regarding an interview do not leave a message ..call back so you can speak to a real person" which I thought "hmmm sounds kind of shady" Later in the day I called back and Linsey Beford answered and I asked her several very specific questions about the position...she acted a bit evasive and testy..so there were alot of red flags going up for me! She asked if I could come in Wed or Thurs ...I said Thurs. ...she asked if 1pm would work and then indicated that I would need to come to their "corporate office" in Erlanger Kentucky! Erlanger is almost two hours from where I live...I grew more and more skeptical by the minute and asked for a website so I could check out the company...she hesitated a bit and gave me advantagemarketing.com

I was told there was a base salary and commission and your office is out of your home

This evening I began trying to research this company and did not find anything with physical address I was given in Erlanger???? What I did find was a long list of complaints on this website and I'm grateful I did because if I would have driven two hours for an interview to be deceived ..I would have been livid to say the least!

Beware of this bogus unethical company!!!!
