Elementary school teacher looking for additional income to send kids to college. I received a form letter and check for $3,300. (Of course I asked myself, why would someone I didn't even know send me this?)
Under this program one would become a "Mystery Shopper" receiving $400-600 per month. It sounded perfect. I always told my students, if something sounds too good to be true...it probably is.
I was to shop at KMart, Home Depot, Walmart, Lowes and keep what I had purchased. Just be sure to wire these people back $3,000. Of course the check is bad and luckily, I checked it out first. These people need to be prosecuted to the full extent of the law! I just hope other people who get this will not fall victom to such a scam!
