I was employed by ATL and the owner filed bankruptcy in Dec. '01, but failed to notify his drivers ( I was one stuck up in Pennsylvania). He withheld monies for insurance premiums prior to and after his filing bancruptcy knowing the insurance was no good, well it would have been if he'd actually paid the insurance company.
I was paying $125.00 weekly for family coverage and didn't know till after I got back from PA and quit that the ins. was no good. I found out because the medical providers(doctors) started sending me bills because the ins. co. denied them as no the group coverage termed almost 6 months prior to me hiring on with the company.
Also after finding out about the medical ins., I started checking into other things and found out my life ins. (through another ins. agency) was in the same boat. Monies withheld but not payed to ins. co.
I'm not the only one that got screwed, I can name 15 other employees that I know personally that are in the same predicament.
Guess I am lucky though, I only lost $2000 for medical and life premiums, plus another $900 for medical bills. A few employees had some major medical bills (for example one had throat cancer and another had a heart valve replacement)

Owner Tommy Love transfered ownership of assets to wife, then files for divorce, then filed for bankruptcy. Bankruptcy court declares unlawful and reverts ownership of assets back to Tommy Love.
Tommy Love is a swindler and thief, still no word from banruptcy court if monies scammed for insurance and life insurance will be repayed.
I plan on filing with IRS as the money was taxed as income but no benefit was recieved for said money.
Also I am working with the Postmaster General on filing postal fraud
