Canadian Broadcast Training And Employment broadcast training does not guarantee employment with Canadian media Nationwide

If your considering a broadcasting career in Canada, you might want to think twice.
There are numerous broadcasting and media training institutuions in Canada to choose from, but how many actually place people with a job upon graduation.
There are probably a fair number of graduates from Canada that never found a broadcast or media job.
Also, there are experienced announcers and media people unable to find a job.
Then if these people with a resume with experience can't find a job, than how easy do you think it will be for you to find a job without experience.
Broadcast training schools will be happy to take your money and tell you that you won't have any trouble finding a job upon graduation.
However they fail to tell you that is not the way the real Canadian broadcast world is and you may end up both in wasting your time and your money.
Times have changed.
An honest former Canadian Broadcast instructor told me that the opportunities that once existed in media are no longer there. It's much harder to find a job today.
One other former Canadian media manager who had worked in the business for many years said it's a tough tough business.
If you still feel you've got what it takes and can beat the odds against you, then I wish you the best of luck.
But again, you might want to reconsider and save both your time and money.
