ChaseCom sets commission quotas for its employees that are ridiculously too high and unattainable by virtually the entire staff. In February 2002, only 4% of the entire sales staff made the monthly sales quota! ChaseCom also requires that the employee make at least 70% of the sales quota to even receive a commission payout, and when one reaches that minimum 70% mark, one only receives 50% of what he/she actually earned. In February 2002, only 18% of the entire sales staff made it at least to the 70% mark, meaning 82% of their workforce did not earn enough money under ChaseCom's commission scam to actually receive what he/she really should have. Let us say, for example, that the quota is $500.00, and one makes $320 in commission for the month, that person receives $0, and ChaseCom pockets the employee's hard earned commission. If the employee makes $350.00 for the month, he/she only receives $175 (50% of what he/she really earned), and again ChaseCom pockets the rest. In all fairness to ChaseCom, they do have a policy that if you make over 110% of quota, you receive 125% of what you earned, meaning if one makes $800 for the month, one receives a payout of $1000.00. However, ChaseCom is well aware that this rarely happens, and when it does, it happens to maybe one individual (at most) per month. To top it all off, it is ChaseCom policy not to distribute any commission to any employee that becomes voluntarily or unvoluntarily unemployed from the company, meaning if you terminate yourself or are terminated the day before the scheduled commission payout, ChaseCom will not pay you the commission that you had earned. Due to this, and other factors, I resigned my position with the company. All present employees should wake-up, and all future employees should be warned of their tricky commission scams.
