Got this email as well and started to vet the company. The domain oryxpartnersltd.com is registered to a Waters Rhone Inc of Jonestown TX. Investigation of Waters Rhone shows he is a singer songwriter from Austin, TX who has "placed multiple songs with other artists on CD releases and film since 1996." Oryxpartnersltd started in 1995. Hmmmmm. By the way, Waters is one half of the songwriting team Rhone Scott.

Water Rhone is also listed on LinkedIn as past president of Phillips Healthcare and current president of Oryx Partners Ltd. His background appears thin enough that this OPL stuff might just be, well, less than what it appears.

Given the schlooky website, the failure to identify the Wall Street-listed, 30+ year old firm underwriting their services, the fact that they are selling identity theft services with no physical business address, and that a singer/songwriter is selling ID theft insurance (might be a Country/Western song in there somewhere) I would back away from the computer and run as fast as possible.
