Focus Marketing, what can I say about this company?

Well, the "company," is the biggest recruiting scam I have ever seen in my life. I submitted my resume at Careerbuilder.com for "marketing, public relations, management, etc." and within hours received a phone call for an interview which makes me wonder if they even screen resumes. NO TELEMARKETING INVOLVED. GREAT!!! SIGN ME UP!!! But when I got to the individual, HOLY CRAP!!!

First off, I wasn't the only one there. There were about 10 other people interviewing for the same position. TACKY!!! No reputable company ever schedules potential hires close to one another, much less 10. Then, the office is in some shitty 3-room trash can with the key to their bathroom hanging on a chalkbroad eraser. No one will work with a company that stays in this dump. Then, there was Chingy blasting on the stereo and while I love hip-hop, certainly has no place in a professional setting.

Then I met James Kwon for my interview who asked me absolutely nothing about my abilities and dare to preach how Focus Marketing works with the New York Yankees GIVING AWAY FREE tickets and the 68 other sports team they work with. It wasn't until later that night that I decided to dig DEEP and find a closet full of skeletons. This is when I found out that their PUBLIC RELATIONS department involves the PUBLIC by selling their Midas coupons DOOR-TO-DOOR!

I have to wonder if everyone there is laughing on the inside at all the suckers (myself included) line up for an interview. Maybe the only good part of being there was checking out the somewhat hot "secretary" rapping to Chingy.

Honestly, I will never conduct business with any INDIVIDUAL or COMPANY that does business with Focus Marketing and their "parent" corporation.
