I thought they were a standup company as well. I went through all of that with the log book as well as the hours of service violations. I even had to buy tires for a D&H trlr i picked up in Macon, Ga. I told Sean i didnt do it but since they control your pay, he made me pay half. The last straw came when i was taking a load to Colorado and was passing threw Oklahoma. I had to take 10hr break so i parked at a Loves trkstop. I brushed my teeth with the water, which i later found out had a virus in it, and it paraylized the right side of my face. Me tryna be the dedicated driver took the load to Colorado and then checked into a clinic. Ten minutes after i told them the doctor put me on 3mths medical leave they froze my pay. It was a friday afternoon so my pay should have already been loaded but i told them of injury that morning so they waited on results before they would paid me. 1hr after that they took me out of system and had a driver in route to recover the trk and put me on greyhound home, which they later charged me for. I haven't checked DAC yet. To all you drivers who didnt get last checks, i filed a complaint with the State of Iowa under loss wages recovery. They recovered my pay free of charge from K&B. It took a couple of months, but its worth it. They owed me $750 but i had to settle for $450 cause K&b charged me for recovery and that bus ticket. I could have fought further but that was as far as Iowa would take it for free. I have a work comp case pending also. Fight them!!

I was considering going back on the road because of the bad economy and I need to make some more money so I can finish law school.
I WILL DEFINITELY NOT WORK FOR THESE LYING,CHEATING BOZOS!
If I wanted to get screwed like this, I would go back to being a contract SECURITY GUARD.
You should ALSO file a personal injury suit on the people who provided the water where you caught the virus. AND you can prove the financial damages...

I just want to say thanks for everyone's comments about K&B. My husband was getting on a bus up there today (Sat) to attend their oreinntation. I say was, because now he's not even though he needs a job badly. This company sounds worse than any he's worked and he has worked for a few bad company's already. I'm sorry to hear so many of you have endured such crap from a company that makes everything look so good until your actually in the job. This is so typical of many trucking companies out there, where has the decency, integrety, and morals of trucking companys gone? Who knows maybe those elements were never a big deal in this industry to begin with, this is a shame too as there are many individuals that give their all to an employer then get screwed. I think it should be regulated more so the drivers don't have to put up with lying, stealing cheats that are only in it for themselves. Someday, something big will happen as the industry will run out of people that will tolerate this abuse. Thanks again and good luck to everyone. Leamaria

Well, i checked my DAC and yes they ruined it. I've called 20 companies and they all won't hire due to this!! I'm getting a lawyer to see if any civil laws have been violated by this company and if so, i'm proceeding with the lawsuit. Remember to file a wage claim with the state of Iowa to recover loss wages from them. It's too many of us out here who've been burned by this company to not take action against them!!!!

I Feel For You Sir, MOST of the Companys out here try to Nickle & Dime you to death. Just Make Sure to CYA ! . Document EVERYTHING ! , Drive Legal TO HELL With What they Threatin You With!. Someday when These So called Companys wake up, There going to say, (Hmmmm, Why cant we find any GOOD Drivers?) Well The answer is Quit Screwing the Drivers that they DO HAVE , and they wont have the Need to Look !
