I am currently a contracter for Kelly's Kampus which I was hired in the summer of 2006. I was promised a $200 compensation monthly, but have only recieved one month's earnings. I've billed every month's invoice to the adress given in waco, but the owner is in austin according the the area code of her phone number. Kelly's Kampus currently owes me $1,000, and I've talked to the owner Karen Hackett and Barb Hansen, who is in charge of payment, plenty of times over the past 2 months via email and cell phone. I've also kept our emails as evidence if needed, but both of them has recently ignore my calls and my emails.

In one email that we've talked in April, Barb Hansen has even admitted to their faulty delayed payments saying,

"I'm sorry we seem to have some communication issues. I had sent out emails to everyone a few weeks ago explaining the situation but I guess you didn't receive that email, so my apologies.

We have been delayed in making some payments to the writers but that has been cleared up this week. Everyone was paid this week and should be receiving their payments this week or early next week as checks were distributed last and this week. Please let me know when you receive your check.

You will be receiving a check for $1000.00 --- which should catch you up for the past due invoices. Please forward me (not Amber) an invoice for April and you will be paid for that invoice next week as well.

You are welcome to give me a call anytime --- xxxxxxxxxx.
Again .. sorry for the delays and confusion. Barb"

In addition, everytime I contact barb to let her know that I have not recieved my email, she says she'll mail my check the day we've talked. It even went so far fetched as I will overnight it, but you won't get it until 3 days?

I sincerely, hope that someone could help me in this situation to get my money back, and to avoid anyone else being ripped off by Kelly's Kampus since they try to hire students from every college in the states.

Kelly's Kampus website rip off setteled

AUTHOR: Tiffany - Austin (U.S.A.)

I am a contractor, and I was promised $200/month for updates about college life in UT. Kelly's Kampus has ripped off $1,000 of my earnings. After 6 month's of employment, Kelly's Kampus has only payed me one month's worth. After many phone conversations with the owner and her assistant, they decided to pay me $1000 which I have never recieved. I continued to contact them for 2 months, but all of a sudden they haven't returned my calls or emails.

As of June 22, I recieved a check for the total amount of $1000 dated May 25th, but the postal service stamp was dated June 19th. Was I suppose to believe they settled this earlier, and it was the postal's fault? Many of their employees recieved an email saying that their checks would be delayed and settled in the month of April. My check was even delayed later than them! Please be careful working for this company!
