I agree with the horrible conditions at PRC in Colorado Springs. During the 7 months that I worked there, there were a lot of discrepencies in certain areas.
First, many of my team members found discrepencies in their paychecks when it came to being paid their bonuses, holiday pay, overtime, etc. Most of the time, bonuses were calculate incorrectly and we always had to make sure that we kept track ourselves with PROOF of each transaction to make sure we could prove, come payday, that we were owed that money. Then...you'd have to wait another month before you'd get paid the extra money you were owed in the first place.
We were always told about promotion "opportunities" being posted on the wall near the exit. However, unqualified people were being promoted to management positions without them ever being posted for others to see see or apply for. From day to day, you never knew who your manager was because they were shuffled around more than a deck of cards. When you needed help on a call, no one wanted to help..."You're not on my team. Where's YOUR supervisor?"
There were a lot of supervisor/employee dating relationships going on, too. Not fair to those of us who choose not to sleep around to get promoted.
I was terminated for violating company policy. I was told that a customer had called back THREE months after she placed her Directv order saying that I didn't quote her the correct monthly bill. I was never allowed to hear the call proving that I had done that. I was never given any proof except for the customer's word. I always was honest and upfront with the customers and if I DID make a mistake, it was not intentional...unlike a lot of people who mis-quote prices to make the sale so they see a bigger paycheck. I decided not to fight further about hearing the "alleged" call and walked. PRC is not worth it. Bad pay, bad managers, unfair business practices, discrimination...who needs that?
Stay away from PRC in Colorado Springs if you want to keep your sanity.
