Staffing Now Refused to pay me my commissions after being an employee for several years ripoff West Des Moines Iowa

After being a very good employee for Staffing Now, Inc for several years, I resigned because I was moving out of state and they did not have a location there.

I was a Perm employee not a temp or anything. I worked extremely hard for this company, the kind of employee who is forced to use their vacation days in December before they expire because I was never out. I have so many emails from my upper management stating what a great job I did.

I left on May 1st and the company is refusing to pay me that commission that I am owed ($1,000) because according to their handbook I was not an employee for the next paycheck (May 5th) but the thing is the handbook I rec'd when I started was completely different and the handbook that they had online the same day I gave my notice said nothing of this either

When I brought this up to their attention they stated that they reserve the right to change the handbook at anytime they feel. I will be submitting a claim to the State but still.
