When I first read the email I thought that this might be the big break I was looking for, since I've been seeking employment for some weeks now. However, I was a little suspicious because I thought a company would contact me through the employment website. So I decided to do an internet search on the company above before replying. Thank goodness I did because the first thing that poped up was a scam from that exact company, and escaped unscathed. I hope that this will help others as well.

Do you make all your career decisions from a blog?

AUTHOR: Consider The Source - Lakeview (U.S.A.)

Although I think this website is a valuable service, it is not gospel. I mean, I could put "Lara from Nevada scammed me by selling me a bag of oranges that tasted like lemons" and it would be posted, without any VALIDATION. If you make decisions solely on this site, it is like getting your news from the national enquirer. Would you do that? Always check sources that are accountable and regulated. Look this company up at the Dept of Insurance and see how many justified complaints they have. Then cross reference it with other companies. Check A.M. Best, Standard and Poor's, Moody's, Fitch, the BBB, and then do a stock analysis of Torchmark Corp who owns them. You will find much different info than on this blog. Then if you feel the same way, definately do not go to the interview. Just use facts, not opinions. Good luck to you.
