Bernard Haldane Associates, Dan Tam, Robert Cunningham Another ripped off, scammed, still unemployed, Bernard Haldane victim Walnut Creek, California *UPDATE ..full refund!

I could go on and repeat my story here, however, it is the same disheartening story as so many others have testified too.

The V.P. of Marketing at the Walnut Creek Haldane office I went too, Carolyn Schlosser, told me at my initial "sales pitch" interview, that, "Haldane has placed a lot of people in industries and that's a lot of contacts for you."

I received three numbers of prior clients. One has retired, one no longer works there, and the other has yet to return my voice mail message.

In Phase II, #10, of the Haldane contract it states that Haldane will provide "Counseling on salary negotiations and fringe benefit areas."

After an interview, (that I secured without Haldane's assistance), it was clear that the company was not going to pay what I expected. I contacted my "career counselor" asking for assistance in negotiated an increase in salary instead of health insurance benefits. He said, "Just ask them what it costs them for health insurance for an employee." Yeah, right, like you can discuss their health insurance costs at an interview!

It has been 3 more months since I made that phone call and my "personal career counselor" has yet to ask how the interview went. Any contacts and efforts of communcation are made by the client and not Haldane. Of course my counselor says of course "I care." It's just another sugar coated sales pitch.

Why doesn't the Attorney General shut down this practice of fraud?
