Below is a copy of the email I received. A few clues that led me to believe this company was a scam is (1) I've never applied for an Administrative Assistant position; (2) The city and state are not listed on the email nor on the application link; (3) They ask for my cell phone number and an alternate number...?? why my cell number? (4) If my online resume caught their attention why do they need this additional information.....unfortunately, my contact information is already on my resume.
