Me and a friend rongfully termanated and lied to by Manpower. This lady and her friend that works at a company we both worked at said they heard us both say (f -in- mexicans. this lady does not like us beacuse we always found that she would lie about us and try to get us in trouble and in the end she would get into trouble. I work with 3 hispanic people and they cannot believe what happend. They are all on our sides and will write statements to say that nothing like this was said.
Manpower told us we did not fit in after a descrimination investagation that lasted 2 hours. No one wanted to hear our side of the story so we could lay this all out on the table and catch her in another lie. 3 days later the branch manager of manpower asked me and my friend to come in and talk to him and we did. he said we were fired due to descrimination. he said his workers lied to us by saying that we did not fit in that why he wanted to tell us the truth.
I have filed complaints on this lady and nothing was ever done. we were rongfully termanated and we know it. what can we do to get the truth to come out. If all the hispanic people that work on second shift says thats not true who looks bad here. the lady that complained is white how can she say descrimination for someone else. please give me some advise. thanks

First of all, Manpower did not terminate you, their client company did. Manpower is the middle-man; a third party service provider that covers your employment taxes and provides you with benefits (after a length of time), in order to save the client time, money, and give them an easy out when you are not a "fit" for their company's culture.
Secondly, this is an at will employment world that we all live in. Companies are not required to give you notice, or reason for termination. The benefit to you is that a two week notice is no longer expected when you want to leave a position. You were fortunate to recieve the amount of explaination that you did.

This complaint was written three years ago. Your rebuttal was good, but I seriously doubt "Jeremy" is around on this web site any longer.
