Beware Swift is hiring drivers and they don't have enough trucks to seat these drivers there new policy is if you're taking more that 24hrs. home time you will have to turn in you truck and hope when you're ready to go back to work they have a truck available!!
I took 5 days for X-Mas after being out for 6wks. and have been waiting since 12/30/2011 and as of this am there are no truck available.
I know what your thinking but I am an experienced driver 10+ yrs. no accidents, no tickets and no service failures!
Also Swift no longer reimburses for truck washes! which is a far cry from what they used to be...

Are you kidding, there best year they couldn't fill all the trucks they have. Being a Swift driver you probably have been to alot of there terminals,I have drove by alot of them and they are always filled with trucks and you can't tell me they all have drivers. So there must be more to this story.

Swift has always hired more drivers than they had cargo for that is an old practice that Jerry Moyes is famous for.
Jerry’s recruiters/plants / propagandists (cheer leaders that are present at all terminals) love to spared deception about Jerry being a philanthropist, that he actually cares for drivers and similar BS. Jerry never cared for anyone but himself and perhaps little (but only little) about his family, all in all he is all about himself.
Jerry with his practices clearly demonstrates that he has more regard for cattle than for his drivers. Every penny that he does not pay you makes him richer and he clearly worships Mammon (demon of money). Jesus said that you can not worship God and Mammon but Jerry is not Christian and he carnally does not live by words of Jesus.
Swift in the past had lots of tractors that number was substantially downsized in late 2000’s but driver training actually
increased so today you have more drivers than trucks. Do you really think Jerry is loosing any sleep over the fact that his drivers are hungry, unable to pay bills or support the families.
