Received email from what looks like a real company. Wanted me to receive payments from their US customers and process for them since they are in Germany. I responded to email, didnt think it was real so expected no response. A week or so later I recieved email from the same guy Gary Stones, and said to be expecting a payment the next day. I did recieve a check from a person in New York it was fedexed to me this remitters name on check is different than the person who mailed it and Im supposed to western union it to Africa? I sent an email and told him I wouldnt cash it that I would deposit to make sure it wasnt a bad check he complained and then said deposit and email once I send funds. Every email he sent he had an "attitude" not business like at all. So I did nothing with the check. I told him I would mail to him or void and another one of his "representatives" could recieve payment instead. He didnt like that at all started threatening to report to authorities and so I said I would do that for him. His attitude changed and he said to just process this payment and email them that I wanted to quit working with company afterwards. I told him I would just shred the check, and he got more and more friendly with each email afterwards, this was a week ago the check is still not cashed nor will it be and he's still sending emails saying to let him know when I have sent the payment. I have every email from the first job offer until now and the check, fedex envelope letter with instructions etc sitting at home and dont know what to do with it.
