Resurgent Capital Services, Aka JCC(J.C. Christensen Assoc. Tried to bill me for my ex-husband's final expenses, after we had been divorced 17 years Sauk Minnesota

My ex-husband died last September of 2007. We have a 19 year old son, who was supposed to take of his final expenses, with the help of the deceased sisters. Now, the send the bill to me, to the tune of $1417.95, and addressed me as the executer of my ex-husband's estate, and we have been divorced almost 17 years, and I have absolutely nothing to do with him, or his finances. I cannot be held responsible for debts he acquired while he was alive and living across the country.

I keep trying to call these people to tell them this, but the phone line is always busy. I do not know what this bill is for but it appears to be a credit card. I absolutely will fight in court if they push for me to pay this because I am in NO WAY responsible for this man's debts
