This doctor is a salesperson. He is in the wrong field. Health care should be for those who actually have concern for the welfare of others. He is more like a car salesmen. He is stubborn and condescending. He refuses to email even though he requires that the staff take down email information. He pushes procedures and sales without shame. He jumps in and acts as a sales associate in order to insure that his services and products are being mentioned for fear of losing money.
He does not treat his staff with respect. He throws away their things and eats their food. He is rude and calls patients late at night to discuss unimportant matters. He coughs in his hands and then touches the computers and other objects. He has even locked a security screen so that a staff member could not log in and cost himself money just for the sick joke. He has gotten mad at a staff member for not saying hello and even gotten loud with her in front of a patient.
He feels it is necessary to pull staff aside while patients are in the building to discuss matters he finds important. He is obsessive about things that he wants done. The plants and sales come first. He wants staff to clean bathrooms and vacuum the facility during office hours. He badgers other offices and people to get what he wants, but never return phone calls or requests in a timely fashion. He has locked the thermometer so that staff cannot regulate the temperature.
He has always changed staff's password to email so that they cannot efficiently do their job. At one point he has even locked the main program so that a staff member had to call in order to log in the program to do their job. He always comes in late. He runs up to patients in the lot or in the cars to remind them of things that the staff has already mentioned or should be mentioned in private. He has work done while patients are in the office such as drilling walls and checking air vents so that patients are walking through debris and avoiding a giant ladder.
he holds meetings, but never takes any advice. He gives staff projects at the last minute and pressures them to get it done even when they've had nothing to do up until that point. He wastes the time of representative and throws away every single thing dropped of by them He does not utilize samples like he should. He only cares about himself. It is a circus.

the staff consists of Dr. Eric Dudley and Dr. Lisa Dudley, Carol Craig and Lisa Kimball.
I doubt Dr. Lisa wrote this, that pretty much leaves Carol Craig and Lisa Kimball.
Wonder who will be in trouble when he hears of this?
Just wondering.

If you want you can verify. The website is certainly not updated. You don't have to be a staff member to know all of this. You can see it and he knows it too. This post is pretty much pointless as is any effort to put him down or to even help him. Nothing gets to him. It's a beautiful practice, but it just never had the chance to develop into something greater. A practice is only as good as it's owner and when it isn't getting much attention it becomes a negative environment for everyone. You can chose to read this and believe or not. This is just a warning. It's all subjective. If you want to know then you can go there and find out for yourself. As many angry words are written with blind rage there is also some truth. Take it or leave it. No one's words are better than the real deal. See for yourself and be the judge. Everyone has their own perspective. That place should just start from scratch. It would be the best thing to do.

I recently went to Dr Dudley after seeing an opthamologist since I was a child. He was very strange from the time I got there. He was pacing from the waiting room to the back constantly. He would ask the staff to tell me something when I was standing right there. When taken back for an exam he was very impersonal and did not seem confident about what he was doing. It took him two hours to do what I have had done in 30 minutes in the past. I simply wanted a contact lens fitting/prescription. He told me he needed my previous prescription to be able to make a new one so he could mesh them together. What? He must have asked me seven or eight times if I was going to order glasses and kept telling me he wanted me to call with my past prescription that night as he wanted to get the contacts ordered by the next morning. When he asked me for the fifth time if I was going to order glasses too I said maybe but I would have to come back when I had more time, so I could look at frames without being rushed as I had to another appt to get to. He told me I should have been looking at them while I as dilating, that would have been a good opportunity. He reiterated to the front desk staff that I was going to order contacts...even though he did not have a prescription for me. He tried to take my picture with the camera....which the staff had already done. Why they do this, I do not understand. HIPPA they claimed. This practice and doctor made me very uneasy, I really just wanted to run out the door in the middle of the exam. I am a nurse and am not uneasy in these situations. He called me on a Saturday afternoon to ask for my contact lens prescription. I told him I was not coming back and he did not need it. He asked if I could give it to him anyway for his records. Is this guy really an optometrist? Do not go here. This is a scary place.
