Darrick Earegood State Farm Insurance Background Check, Not a Good Citizen Grand Rapids Michigan

I was in the market for new insurance and a buddy passed along the business card of Darrick Earegood so I gave him a call. We set up a time to meet. Something was just a little off about this guy. He seemed very deceptive in nature and didn't really look me in the eye. But, that was probably because he was too busy checking out my wife. He did follow up with us and even offered to beat a previous quote. I signed a check he asked for to not loose the rate and hold it until I made a decision. I asked him to let me have the weekend to sleep on it. I traveled to northern Michigan to Reed City to visit family that weekend. I mentioned the possibility of switching insurance companies but also said the agent gave me a bad vibe. About a half hour later my cousin pulled this on the local newspaper's website.

The man in the report was Darrick Earegood, my cousin a local police officer remembered the story from a few years ago. After doing a full background check I found that this was not the first time Darrick Earegood had issues with the police when it came to drugs and alcohol. Although he was able to drop many charges or plea bargain his way out of doing time I would not do business with him. How can a person who is someone who abuses drugs and alcohol be someone I can trust or anyone can for that matter? When I asked for the check to be shredded, I was told it was too late and my policy had already been opened. When I asked for a refund, I got the run around; needless to say I was out $300. I suggest before you do business with this man do your research.
