I am a single mother of two boys. I contacted SupportKids in 2005 and they took my case, claiming that they could collect the $96,000.00 in back child support I was due. I dropped my case with the State and thought that SupportKids would do what they promised.
Well to date all they have collected is $550.00 they kept for their fee which was only suppost to be $325.00 and I have gotten two check for $132.00 each. After not getting anything or hearing anything since Oct. 2006 I contacted them on June 4,2007.
I was told at that time a Credit Card payment was received and would be mailed to me in 24 to 48 hours. Today is June 14, I still have not gotten a check. The amount of money I've been getting is nothing, what
about other parents that SupportKids hold their money? What if I hadn't called? How many other payments have they held and never mailed out to my and other parents? I know they over charge me on their fees what else are they stealing from my children and others?
I would like to file a class action case against SupportKids. If you have been ripped off my them please contact me.

I too have a contract with Support kids. I have been trying since June to get them to cancel my contract after finding out that my local child support agency found my NCP not Supportkids. I have filed claims with the following agency and have been getting some results. I filed a complaint with the Attorney generals office of Texas, a complaint with the BBB of Central & South Texas, a complaint with the Child Support Enforcement Council and I complaint with The Internet Fraud Division. I am in the process of letting these agencies help me with my fight against Supportkids to cancel my contract. You do have the right to change your address with your local child support agency and if you can talk to your NCP, make sure that he is not sending them money that you havent been getting. I hope this helps.

I hope people read this. You sign a contract with Supportkids for a year. In that contract it states that after one year, if no monies is collecetd, you can cancel that contract in writing to notify them. When you do that, you should also contact your local support agency and have them update your address and direct deposit info if you have that option. If you have direct deposit and you go with Support kids you change your direct deposit info with your local agency to them. Change it back. If you don't have direct deposit, GET IT!!! They will pitch a fit but as long as your within the contractual agreement, they can't do anything about it. I was lucky enough to have a local agency that calls me to confirm anything and everything.
