McDonalds Can never get order right Lafollette Tennessee

I don't know if it's all Mcdonalds or just this one, but the Mcdonalds in Lafollette Tennessee is a JOKE! No exaggeration, about 90% of the time my food is wrong.

You may ask my why I keep going back, and my ansewr is I dont' know! Kinda silly I know. But it's fast and it's cheap, plus when they actually get the order correct, I like the food.

My husband and I have called and complained several times, and we have been put on their list for free food (which we have never used) But nothing seems to get better. The customer service SUCKS! They always act as if they don't want to be there, and never smile, and never talk to you. They only take the order and your money. When they give you your food they don't say a word, just hand it to you and shut the window. When you go inside and eat, they are always talking to their friends and cussing and paying no attention to the customer.

Tonight is what really set me off. I go through the drive through and order a crispy chicken ranch BLT with no lettuce or tomato and add cheese. Pretty easy. When I get to the window to pay, the guy asks me what my order was again. I told him and made sure to say no lettuce or tomato. He goes to tell me there is no lettuce or tomato that comes on it. What an idot, it's a BLT! Of course there's lettuce and tomato. Anyway, I go to the next wiindow to get my food and after about 5 minutes they ask me what my order was. So for the THIRD time I repeat my order EXACTLY as I did the first two times.

I get home and open up my bag and pull out the sandwich. Now remember my order that I repeated 3 times was a crispy chicken ranch BLT, no lettuce or tomato add cheese. I open it up and guess what it is?!?! A GRILLED chicken sandwich, with MAYO (no ranch), WITH LETTUCE and TOMATO, and NO cheese! Are these people stupid???

It is like this constantly, and I'm tired of calling and complaining. I keep saying I'm never going back, but I always do (which is my fault). Come on Mcdonalds, show a little customer service and do your job! It can't be that hard!

In all honesty, if you keep going back these items must not be a big issue to you. If you call and complain saying you are never going back, but you go back again. Then call and complain that you are never going back. How much incentive do you think that has with any Company.

Just talking about this last time. If they are getting your order wrong 90% of the time, then why in the world did you wait until you got home to check if it was correct. Especially if you had to repeat it 3 times.

Instead of coming here to complain about a $4 sandwich; stop going there if it displeases you that much. By the way your comment about their job not being that hard - try it for yourself... Working in a fast food environment contrary to what you may think is not the easiest job out there. If you truly wish to complain; call the corporate headquarters or ask for the regional manager's contact number.

"They always act as if they don't want to be there". THEY ARE'T ACTING. "They never smile". What do they have to smile about? They're working at macdonald's for Pete's sake. "They never talk to you" IF I were working there I probably wouldn't feel like talking to anybody either. It's a sad state of affairs. Some of these places DO have good people. Most of the kids working there and places like it look at their jobs as a crappy, temporary stopover to bigger and better things. They take no pride in themselves or their jobs and COULD CARE LESS. It's not: Good help is hard to find, it's Any help is hard to find.

That holds true for just about anyplace now. I've been hiring and firing people for 20 years. Corporate could care less. It's all a numbers game to them. IF they get too many complaints about a certain location, they'll can that manager and find a new one. The kids stay the same. The way corporate looks at it, if they get more then a couple of calls from the same customer, he's a "problem" customer and they just hope he'll go away to bother someone else. I do think it's kind of funny that you ordered a chicken BLT and told them to hold the LT. Kind of like ordering a BLT and telling them to hold the bacon, lettuce and tomato. But you have to think about the kind of person(s) you're dealing with. Why do you think they only have little pictures on their registers and no numbers? Worked at a Jack 30+ years ago and it one of the worst jobs I ever had. It's gotta be even tougher now.

Let your pocketbook speak for you...

I don't see the benefit in returning to an establishment that cannot fulfill a simple order. I can understand if it happens now and then but if it is a regular occurrence then this is a case of poor quality control. If they cannot put an order together I wouldn't hold out much hope for them following cleanliness or food safety policies.

Take your money to an establishment that can better serve your needs.
