These past 15 days, this company has been calling me and wanting me to talk to a sergeant about getting into the army. I never called them and I do not want to be in any part of the military since it is too scary and too many soldiers are dying. I never picked up the phone when they even called me the first time because they are trying to cheat me. I do not know how they got my number and yesterday I wrote to 911.com to report this number and this person has not even one time stopped calling me.

#1 Consumer Suggestion

simply call them and tell them you are not interested.

AUTHOR: Steve - Bradenton (U.S.A.)

Kavitha,

First, let me clear up a few things for you. The ARMY National Guard, is NOT part of the FEDERAL Government. They are a STATE agency, and they are not a "company".

What most likely happened here is that someone you know got recruited and gave the recruiter your name and phone #. The recruiters always ask for this.

All you need to do here is call them back and politely ask the person who answers what their name is. Write it down. Now just tell them that you are not interested and request they get rid of your contact information and cease calling.

This is really quite simple.

A little hint

If they are persistent in trying to meet with you, tell them that you have asthma and need to use an inhaler at least once a day.

Wrong answer

AUTHOR: Slvrstaln - Barberton (U.S.A.)

You would have had to call them or visit thier website and entered your information or they would not be calling you. You probably wanted a free t-shirt or hat or another one of thier promotional items and provided them with your number. Another option is you were speaking with on of the GRAPers and gave them your information. I dont know but if you want them to stop calling try talking to them and tell them you are not interested in joining.

Never did a thing

AUTHOR: Kavitha - Cary (U.S.A.)

Hello,

I never contacted them for anything. They just wanted to make money off of me. Please report them to the police to shut them up!

Please use common sense

AUTHOR: Marcus - Raleigh (U.S.A.)

First off, the National Guard, or any other military branch, does not make money off of anybody. It is federally and state funded, and does not require, nor seek, any spare change you have. You might want to do some research before you speak, because your complaint is quite uneducated. As stated earlier, all you have to do is contact the recruiter, and tell them you're not interested. Please deal with this issue with maturity, and do not make off-base claims against those that defend your freedom. Again, use common sense. For those who see this report, I would hope you recognize the complete lack of validity within it, and know that this individual just did not deal with the situation in a mature or reasonable manner.

wow

They wanted to make money from you?

LOL well they are not in it for the money, Trust me on that. The recruiters jobs suck... Most of them are recruiting against there will. It is a 3 year obligation, like Drill SGT, Instructor etc.
They are good people that are given a mission. Get people in boots, and provide security for there civilians. Lets give them some respect. Just call them and tell them that you have no interest, and Thank your Soldier for what they do!

What if the recruiters didn't have a sense of purpose? What if there mission wasn't important to them? Then there would be a draft and you would be writing RIPOFFREPORT.com about the draft.

Sometimes we get distracted in life. We developed patterns and habits that shape our character into something it isn't. Sometimes we babble until one has to point out the selfishness and shame in our words in order to change. Listen more, talk less, best advise I can give ya.

While they are sleeping in the rain under a tree in the woods, After a long day of training and evals, Feet hurting and cloths drenched. Missing there kids Birthday party would you have the nerve to tell them just how upset you are by having to pick up the phone several times?
