I flew out to CA about 6 months ago for my sisters wedding
Everything was going great, my sister and her new husband to be were happy as could be. And my sister looked better then she ever has. It was great to see everyone again
A few days before the wedding the photographer called and said he had a problem but he could still make it and everything should be fine
But when the big day came, the only one that showed up was some drunk hippie. He said his name was chad and worked for Chad Alan Photography He walked around taking advantage of all the free drinks he could. Snapping a picture here and there. And hitting on anything or anyone that moved, male and female, young and old
When everything was finished and we were packing up, he was nowhere to be found. We called the original photographer the next day to complain. And he said everything was fine, and all the pictures came out great.
Well that was five months ago, and we still don't have anything to show for the best day of my sisters life, and all the money we spent
Contacting the photographer and chadalanphotography.com has got us nothing but cussed out, yelled at, and put down. I think this guy works out of his garage or something, because the address of the hardly working website doesn't show a real office for this guy
We did a search for other people that may have dealt with this guy, and all we find are websites about tattoos, bands, and porn. No office, nothing. A couple of people we contacted told us he never graduated, lives with his mom, and made his own website with the help of friends .I guess that explains why it doesn't seem to work right after the first page
Well all I can say is look into people before you pay them, get references, and don't let hippies photograph your special days or times in your life. If you ever want to remember them anyways

This report is completely false. I have never photographed a wedding. The many times I have been asked, by friends, I have declined as I worry that my style will not transfer to the occasion. I would feel so bad if I was unable to return some fantastic photos of such an important day. I have not been in the business of photography since early 2007. My day job began to take so much of my time that I did not have the time or energy required to continue to build my portfolio. When I DID take photos, I worked exclusively with models for the purpose of building their portfolios. If anyone would like I can give you the Model Mayhem pages of these models and encourage you to contact them about me. I am not a hippie. I actually do not drink at all. I find the comment about me hitting on all the you and old men and women to be particularly entertaining.
At the time that this message was posted, I was working for a government automobile crash testing facility. I was a photo/video technician and was having to work from 3AM to 7PM every day. I wasn't taking any work, let alone weddings.
From the way this message was written and the personal attack phrases herein, I'd say that this message was written by my mother's ex-boyfriend. He has been harassing me since 2003. He's stalked me online, had his nephew follow my girlfriend to work and approach and tell her all sorts of vile "truths" about me, he's called places I've worked and attempted to have me fired, and a myriad of other things. I've called the police to no avail.
I didn't know this report existed except I searched for myself looking for a portfolio of one of my models to send to a friend. She's starting up as a photographer and I suggested a model that I worked with that was very easy going and willing to help up and coming photographers build their portfolio. What a surprise it was to find this fiction. I encourage this poster to contact me so that I can figure out what is going on here. Is someone pretending to be me? Or is this what I think it is, another attempt by a sick, sad old man to attack me for taking my mother out of an abusive relationship with a drunk, drug addict.
