Bankchampaign came to me as a trustee for my parents Trust account. They had the sold me as the one to have. After two years, I learned that they had distributed much of my parents assets to major depositors and board members. I ask them to step down to which they finally agreed to "resign". Little did I realize that the Bank takes "their " resignation as a Termination of the account, to which they feel that they should pay themselves a very hefty sum of money! As to add insult to injury, they also took the opportunity to withhold an equally large sum of money for any legal action that I may bring forward.

Of course the bank has said that if I sign a global release holding them harmless of any wrong doing, they would return any legal fees that they have not used!

After nearly 9 years of trying to retrieve "my" inheritance, the battle continues since the bank has very deep pockets - thanks to our bailout money!

$250,000+ RIPOFF

AUTHOR: blackmailed by a bank - Champaign (United States of America)

Bankchampaign ripped us off for $250,000+ by over valuing our estate by several million dollars!
We thought that Bankchampaign knew what they were doing. Boy, were we right, sadly for us they did know what they were were doing - to the tune of $250,000+ in extra fees and cost (since fees and certain expenses are percentage based)to the estate!
When we took them to court, they did not argue that what they did was right, they argued (and won) based on Statute of Limitations.

Sorry for your loss

AUTHOR: IamGood - Galveston (USA)

Blackmaled:

sorry for your loss.  But think about it, how many debtors who owe banks money for loans, or credit cards get out of payment by using the same  "Statute of Limitations" defense.

BankChampaign Update

AUTHOR: blackmailed by a bank - Champaign (United States of America)

BankChampaign reported a 1.4 million dollar profit last year. I wonder how many other unsuspecting customers got taken?

In response to iamgood. I thank you for your wishes but I don't think that because some people take the banks for a ride that that should justify or make valid the bank to turn around and do the same to an individual! After all they made 20X (in profit) in one year then my parents (who worked their entire lives) left me after their death!!!
