I just wanted to let everyone know that any check from BNN Financial Group is a bad one.

It's just like the WM Financial group scam, except that the phone number and company name have changed.

They claim that I've won $39,000.00 in a special lottery, with my name being pulled from a consumer database. They sent me a check for $3,900.00 to help pay "applicable taxes". When I try to call the number, it's either been disconnected or no one answers. It just continues to ring.

I just wanted to put this up here to warn everyone that the company has changed its name.

The thing that caught my notice was on the front of the letter. Right where the stamp is, it says Fraud-prevent it! I just wonder if these people are getting away with this scam. What the heck!
