Was I on the no-call list?  Was I called anyway by (877) 383-7748?  Is a desperate sucker born every minute?  Yes, yes, and yes, although I was not born yesterday, and intuitively I should have known better than to succumb to the sparkling offers from Clearbreeze Solutions.

There's more dirt about this scam here, if you have the stomach to read it: 800notes.com/Phone.aspx/1-877-383-7748   See below

Mar 4, 2008 ... Believe it or not readers i was once a rep for financial services/clear breeze solutions. Truthfully all employees are paid off a commission ...

How I wish I had known in spring 2008 about these websites and the reports of so many before me who have sunk further in debt because of this fraudulent business.  Didn't their name almost make you feel the lightness and ease of having your financial problems simply whooshed away by a refreshing ocean breeze?   Yeah, and a few months later you end up with stink all over your face and you're buried even deeper in it.

Besides the $990 charged to one of my credit cards, I also incurred a hefty fee for a "foreign transaction."  Can anyone explain this?  The business address is in Georgia, USA, but they must have one of those convenient "offshore" accounts and processing centers.  When I later questioned them on it, they didn't know anything about it.

I waited 4 or 5 months before I ever received the promised "analysis" and scenario of how I could reduce my interest charges by $4,000.  I asked several times after "joining," and was repeatedly told that the report had been mailed to me.  Lie!  They mailed nothing for a very long time.  The pitifully amateurish-looking report and charts they mailed me showed that I had lost well over $1,000 only to be told by their "geniuses" that if I paid off one credit card at a time, that would leave me with x-dollars called "action money" to apply to another credit card debt, which I would then pay off faster because of this "action money" that Clearbreeze had identified for me (like this was a true revelation or pure gift from them??!)  This ranks right up there with the greatest nonsense I've ever read.

Bottom line, they "helped" me transfer one debt to another card and another card, until I ended up with thousands of dollars of debt with a 0% introductory finance charge, which then zoomed up this fall to around 23% -- almost twice as much as the interest rate on my original debt.  Clearbreeze so blithely tells you that when one introductory rate runs out, just call back, and they'll "help" you transfer it to another cheap rate.

Wrong!  Now that the economy has tanked, the credit offers have dried up, and there is not another good rate available anywhere that I can find or access.  I'm stuck, far more in debt and with nearly double the finance charges I had 18 months ago.  The "savings" of $4,000 they promise ends up in their bank account, not in yours!

Why can't there be a class-action lawsuit against these scam-artists?

File Complaint Against Clearbreeze Solutions, also see their internet Domain Name is for sale!

AUTHOR: Jane - Coralville (USA)

Everyone who has lost money to Clearbreeze Solutions should put their detailed complaint in writing, including the amount of money you have lost and copies of any pertinent documents, then send them to:  Governor's Office of Consumer Affairs, 2 Martin Luther King Jr. Dr., Suite 356, Atlanta, Georgia 30334-4600  If you want to fax your complaint and documentation, the FAX number is:  404 651-9018.  The more complaints they receive about any particular company, the more likely they are to investigate.

You also may call the state Office of Consumer Affairs directly at 404 651 8600. They will take your complaint and give you a Reference number, but you still will need to put all of the details in writing and mail or FAX this to them.  There is not a direct 800 number to the Office of Consumer Affairs in Georgia, but if you call 1-800-GEORGIA, you may ask them to transfer your call to that local number for the Governor's Office of Consumer Affairs.

Finally, here's an interesting development:  if you try going to the Clearbreeze website -- http://www.ClearbreezeSolutions.com -- you'll find that it's just like a bogus storefront.  There's a front page, but anything you click will take you to nothing about Clearbreeze Solutions.

However, you will find an amazing offer:  "This Domain Name May Be For Sale"   What do they mean "May be"?  Of course they'll sell it!  Apparently Clearbreeze Solutions is closing shop and running away. When and where might they reappear with a new name, new website, and the same old ripoff?  Buyer Beware!!
