Greentree states on their website that if you are having trouble making a payment, "Rather than ignoring the problem in the hope that it will go away, the best approach is to address it as soon as possible. Your Green Tree representative is here to help you find solutions to your payment problems. Work with us so that we can help you maintain your creditworthiness for the future."  Well, I tried that and the person began to scream at me and degrade me and told me that if we did not make the payment, they WOULD foreclose on my home and he could go ahead and do that today since we were already a few days late.  When I tried to explain that both myself and my husdband had been cut-back at work he told me that if I didn't calm down that he would issue the foreclosure while we were on the phone.  All this time, he was the one yelling at me like I was his child.  I asked him about the loan modification forms that I had requested in June (this is now late August) and he said that they were not doing anything with the government. I told him that the website said that they are and he began to yell louder.  These people are only out to get your property so they can sell it and do the same thing to someone else.  When will the government step in and stop these people???
