De Vere & Partners Financial Planners: Hong Kong : Misselling and de frauding: BEWARE Hong Kong, Internet

On arriving in Hong Kong for a limited time on an enhanced salary I wanted to take advantage of this and save for my retirement.
I asked De Veres for advise on investment for this purpose explaining that I would need to return to the UK on a reduced salary and so would need to reduce my premiums.
They suggested a Generali policy which they said was flexible. I asked questions about the fees as they were not clear and seemed to be plentifull. De Veres blatenly lied about them not once but twice. I am now left paying fees for a further 9 years which increase with premium and do not reduce with reduced premium.
After taking out the policy I was promised twice yearly follow ups...I never heard from them again!
I recently found out about the true nature of the fee structure and wrote to them to seek reasons and recompense. They didnt even bother to reply!
I also recently found out that Generali pay all their commission up front which explains alot such as De Vere dropping me when they had their money and the extortionate fees for early exit.
Beware De Veres!
