I am receiving phone calls and threatening letters in regaurd to a child support case that i was unaware of. On Christmas Eve I received a bill stating I owe $15,302.08 for child support from the riverside county department of child support services of california. They say that if I don't send them the full amount by check or money order they will garnish my wages, suspend my drivers license or put leins on real and personal property.I try to call the 800 number listed, and I get an answering machine. Where and how they got my name and address is beyond me and if I owed anyone $15,302.08 I would not just send them a money order or check.
